Before the visit, clear the kitchen benches and empty the cupboards under the sinks. Afterwards, leave the bait dots in place and avoid spraying household products near them. Keep food sealed, benches wiped and bins closed so the bait is the easiest meal around. In a unit or townhouse, ask your neighbours if they are seeing the same thing, as treating several homes together often works better than one on its own.
